Installation
- Tile floors — ceramic, porcelain and stone. Flat, properly bonded, lippage-free.
- Shower walls and pans — Schluter waterproofing systems, TCNA methods, correct slope and drainage.
- Backsplashes and feature walls — layout-first installation with clean grout lines.
- Fireplace surrounds — tile and stone surrounds built to handle the heat and the eye.
Repair
- Shower regrout — a full regrout can make a tired shower look new again, when the waterproofing underneath is sound.
- Broken tile replacement — cracked or chipped tiles cut out and replaced to match.
- Failing shower diagnosis — I’ll tell you straight whether it’s a grout problem or a waterproofing problem. They’re very different jobs, and you deserve to know which one you have before you pay for either.
- Grout and caulk renewal — where grout has failed but the tile is solid.
Straight talk on regrout vs. re-tile: if the waterproofing behind the tile has failed, no amount of new grout will fix it — the shower needs rebuilding. If the waterproofing is sound, a regrout (from $299) is the smart money. I diagnose first and recommend second.
How it works
1. Photos or a visit. Text me photos of the tile — for repairs, that’s often enough to tell you what you’re dealing with.
2. Clear scope. You get an itemized price for exactly what’s included. No allowances, no surprises.
3. Done right. Proper prep, proper materials, proper cure times. Tile work punishes shortcuts, so I don’t take them.
